CEO's Message

2009 is an interesting year. the industrial phenomenon worldwide is transitioning. Knowledge and information are finally being differenciated. There is much to reflect upon, given our unique place in time. We have exceeded our tougher sales targets in the previous quarter. However, it takes a constant 360 degree observation of dynamics in the industrial market environment to play the changing game where quality, cost competitiveness and constant innovation are must-haves for a sustained winning momentum.

In the beginning, we were a fledgeling trading organization, 10 years on, we were one of the best recognized distributors of the national steel brands. And now, over 20 years later, we are proud of our steel service centre’s excellence in quality. Not only that, our sister concern: TSPL is a direct forward integration in this immense value chain. We are gradually consolidating our market position based on the quality which has come to be associated with our name.

Our productivity levels have steadily improved and our capacity utilization rate is fairly healthy. It is with a sense of confident positivity and faith in our abilities that we have embarked on this year’s challanges, irrespective of the much talked about economic downturn.

On this platform, it is quite imperative to owe our success to our esteemed clients for the trust and understanding and of course to our employees who have been the backbone of the leading edge performance. The dedication evident in our performance is uniquely defined by our work culture and management approach. Our culture begins with our values that drive everything we do. Inclusiveness in decision making is the true pillar of this culture. This approach translates into insightful matching of skills and roles of our key personnel. Long term careers thus come from a shared commitment to organizational performance as a whole.

Management lesson anecdotes are real life stories. unlike fiction or theories, Our Courage as individuals and the examples set by the leadership, together with a constant effort to keep high levels of motivation go a long way in building successful organizations, by applying unconventional approach, and hence innovation in strategy and execution.
